Nummer Serie DS112 - crashed sobald usb festplatte anghängt wird.

Hallo zusammen,

sobald ich meine ext festplatte an die DS hänge, crashed das Teil. Komme nicht mehr auf die Admin Oberfläche etc... da hilft nur Stecker ziehn.

Ext Platte ist eine Western Digital 1 TB WXS1E32TRLSX.

Jemand schon mal erfahrungen in diese Richtung gemach?

Komisch ist, als die Platte neu war, ist das ding über mehrere Tage gelaufen als Backup. Morgens ran und Abends ab.

Und seit kurzer Zeit crashed das System, obwohl ich die Ext. mehr mals formatiert hab.

Wenn die DS abstürzt, dann ist mit der Hardware der Externen etwas nicht in Ordnung. Vor allem, wenn andere USB-Geräte keine Probleme machen.
Läuft die Problemplatte denn an anderen Rechnern?
Kabel schonmal ausgetauscht?
Evtl. ist auch das Netzteil der Externen defekt und es gibt Störspannungen die die DS lahmlegen.

EXT. läuft am Rechner problemlos.
Ist ne 2,5" daher ohne Stromversorgung.

Werd mal eine andere Platte testen... naja, danke schon mal!

Denkbar wäre auch noch, dass die 2,5" etwas zu viel Saft zieht und die DS dann abstürzt. Ich habe auch schon die ein oder andere DS zum Absturz gebracht alleine durch leichte Spannungsschwankungen.

Demnach lieber eine EXT. mit eigener Spannungsversorgung?

Kannst Dich ja auch mal per SSH auf die Dikstation verbinden und

tail -f /var/log/messages

ausführen - während der Befehl läuft, einfach die Platte anstecken und schauen ob man evtl. 'ne merkwürdige Ausgabe sieht.

Das komische ist, das die Platte an einer DS 110 J ohne mucken läuft... :/
Kann das auch mit der internen Festplatte der DS112 zu tun haben? Das die sich nicht verstehen?

ok. mal schauen. komischer weise ist die box dieses mal nicht abgestürzt.
