eSATA: SK-3500 Super-S mit SEAGATE ST31000340NS

Hi
ich habe heute versucht an mein 409Slim die im Titel genannte Combo zu verwenden.

Nach mehrfachem Neustart des SK-3500 hat man dann auch die Platte im Bedienfeld gesehen. Wenn ich aber auf Formatieren drücke verschwindet nach ein paar Sekunden die Platte.
( Am Mac OS Xund Win XP über FW und USB geht alles )

mittele dmesg sieht man dann unten angehängte Fehlermeldung.
Kennt jemand das Thema ?

Wie hast denn die Box angeschlosen an der DS? Auch per USB?

über USB geht die Kiste aber nicht über eSATA am DS409Slim.

Sorry hatte ich vergessen zu schreiben. sieht man aber in dem Log.

Leider kann man am eSATA-Ausgang keine Multi-Disk-Einheit betrieben. Stecke sie auf den USB-Ausgang, dann wird es vermutlich sauber durchlaufen.

da steckt nur eine HD drinne. Also leider nix mit MultiDisk.

P.S.: Wie schon gesagt am USB läuft das single Disk Gehäuse ja auch ohne Probleme.

Ich hatte nicht nachgeschaut und bin über das Wort Combo gestolpert. Sorry. Bei den eSATA-Geschichtem gabe es früher mal das Problem, dass der Stecker nicht richtig in die DS passte und man ein wenig von der Ummantelung abisolieren musste, damit es ging. Ich vermute aber, dass du diese Beiträge eh schon alle im Forum dazu gelesen hast und dass dies auch nicht auf die Slim zutrifft.

Ich würde mir an deiner Stelle aber keinen Kopf machen und einfach USB nehmen. Bei mir auf der DS207+ ist USB mindesten genauso schnell wie eSATA.
