Hi everyone,
i have a Synology DS411slim with 4 x 500 GB Harddisks, configured as Synology Hybrid RAID.
One of the 4 Disks failed the smart Test so i exchanged it against 1 x 1000 GB Harddisk.
After rebuilding the volume i noticed that the overall remaining disk space was exactly the same as it was with the old 500 GB disk, though the new disk is double in size.
So - obviously the Synology diskstation is using only 500 GB of the 1000 GB disk and i couldn't find any option to force it to use the 1000 GB of the new disk.
Any clue what i could do in this case?
Have a nice weekend.
