Hi, firstly an apology - I'm afraid I don't speak German :-( I'm hoping that someone here might take pity on me and help anyway though as this seems to be the forum with the most recovery knowledge!
I have an SHR volume that was made up of 2*4TB & 5*2TB drives. I added an extra 4TB drive and expanded it. Half way through the expansion the system froze completely. After waiting for 15mins I rebooted the system and the volume was marked as crashed. DSM recognises all 8 drives as healthy. The 3*4TB drives are shown as Volume1 in the Volume Manager and all 5*2TB drives are shown as 'Initialised' but not part of the array.
I did a cat /proc/mdstat and the system was continuing to do it's 'reshape' operation. It was only reshaping the 3*4TB drives. This operation has now finished. There are 3 x arrays; MD0, MD1 & MD3. MD2 which I think should be the 'data' drive is not present. All of the arrays are marked as 'clean' but obviously I can't mount them.
Is there anything I can do to recover the array? I've done a lot of reading round about LVM & mdadm but it's not clear to me what I should do to recover and obviously don't want to do anything to break it. I'm running this on an HP DL180 server so can't approach Synology support
Any suggestions or tips greatly appreciated!
Mark
