35 and 38 °C isn't that high for NVMe drives.


I have 2x 500GB NVMe drives in a E10M20-T1 without the heatsink and they are currently 45 and 49 °C (in a room that is currently 30 °C). And these NVMe drives are not being used (not as a volume or cache). WD's recommended maximum operating temperature for these NVMe drives is 72 °C.
