What's xCloud? (This is for all Synology NAS users)
Hello, everyone!
My name is Nicole from Chengdu Diting Technology Co., Ltd., which is developing xCloud currently. First of all, I am so sorry that I cannot post in German in this forum. And in fact, I cannot understand what you're talking about since I cannot speak German.
I used a machine to translate it and I got the general idea of your discussions (I hope it's right). I suppose you do not understand xCloud and our company well, who we are and what we do.
Now, I'd like to speak for xCloud.
What's xCloud?
As it says well in the
official website, xCloud is for data transferring. Currently, xCloud can transfer files between mobile devices and PC (or NAS Devices). It adopts the P2P secure tunnel which means no third part servers engaged in the transferring process, which is quite different from the traditional transfer app.
A comparison between xCloud and CloudStation for NAS:
In short, the difference between xCloud and cloudstation: xCloud makes you take your Synology NAS on your mobile device with you anytime easily, securely and conveniently.
Who we are:
xCloud is developed by a couple of young people in China as you can see from the
company website. The full name of the company is "??????????" in Chinese, whose full English name should be "Chengdu Diting Technology Co., Ltd." in Chinese pingyin. But we also translate the name into "D-Team Inc." for good. Since it located in Chendu, Sichuan of China, we put the address, Email etc. on the
Chinese page.
In short, it's a young but passionate team. It's worth your trust and attention. xCloud is indeed not perfect, but all the staff in the company are trying their best to make it better. Your previous suggestions and feedback would be very appreciated if you have any in using xCloud on your NAS.
