Ich versuche jetzt mal zu erklären, wie ich als absoluter Synology Anfänger es geschafft habe.

1. PuTTY herunterladen http://putty.very.rulez.org/latest/x86/putty.exe
2. PuTTY öffnen und die IP Adresse der DS eingeben (Port auf 22 belassen)
3. Benutername "root" eingeben -> Enter
4. Passwort wie für das normale admin Konto eingeben -> Enter
5. Eintippen "cp /usr/syno/etc.defaults/scemd.xml /volume1/{einefreigabe}/scemd.xml" -> Enter (statt {einefreigabe} einen Freigabeordner deiner DS ohne Klammer eintippen!)
6. Die Datei "scemd.xml" mit dem Windows Editor öffnen
7. Den Code gesamten Code aus dem Post von ubuntulinux (4. Post in diesem Thread) reinkopieren
8. Datei abspeichern
9. Im PuTTY "mv /usr/syno/etc.defaults/scemd.xml /usr/syno/etc.defaults/scemd.xml.alt" eingeben -> Enter
10. Nochmals im PuTTY "cp /volume1/{einefreigabe}/scemd.xml /usr/syno/etc.defaults/scemd.xml" eingeben -> Enter
11. DS neustarten und sich ab der himmlischen Ruhe erfreuen

Auch von mir ein Dankeschön, hatte das gleiche Problem und konnte es dank der tollen Schritt für Schritt Anleitung von Skoalman problemlos beheben.
Und nebenbei habe ich noch gelernt wie man putty einsetzt. Hatte es bisher nur im Repository gesehen, aber noch nicht eingesetzt.

ich würde gerne die lüftersteuerung meiner 210j anpassen aber leider bekomme ich die scemd.xml nicht kopiert.

ich habe es mit allen gemeinsamen ordnern versucht, alle user haben schreib/lese rechte auf die ordner, aber ich bekomme im putty immer die fehlermeldung

"cp: can't stat '/usr/syno/etc.defaults/scemd.xml': No such file or directory"

Was hast du denn genau eingegeben? Ich vermute du hast einen Fehler bei der Angabe des Ziel-Verzeichnisses gemacht. / am Ende ?

ich hab einen gemeinsamen ordner "test" angelegt
hab es aber auch mit den anderen ordnern /(music,photo,video) probiert

So wie es aussieht existiert bei dir die Datei gar nicht, somit kannst du diese direkt anlegen. Warum die Datei bei dir nicht existiert ist mir ein Rätsel.

Teste mal folgendes:

In das Verzeichnis gehen (siehe oben cd /usr/syno ...) und dann

Dann kannst du mit der alten Anleitung weitermachen.

Aktuell war dann bei dir keine spezielle Lüftersteuerung im Einsatz.

So hat alles wunderbar funktioniert.

Zwei Frage hab ich aber noch zur 210j.

Schaltet sich der Lüfter eigentlich nie ab?
Ich hab schon einmal die Steuerung auf 2,5 Modus umgeschalten. Im Script steht ja das sich der Lüfter bei 44 Grad einschalten soll (wenn ich das richtig interpretiere).
Aber mein Lüfter läuft einfach immer.
Die Fesplatten werden beim kopieren ca. 36 Grad warm. Wenn ich morgens (nach einer Nacht Ruhe) reinschaue laufen sie mit 26 Grad. Aber mein Lüfter läuft trotzdem, zwar langsam, aber er läuft immer.

Und 2., ist es normal das sich die Festplatten immer wieder aus dem Ruhemodus hochfahren? Niemand greift auf die DS zu, alle Rechner sind aus. aber immer wieder schalten sich die Festplatten Nachts an. Ist das normal?

Festplatten sollten eigentlich aus bleiben. Zieh mal das Netzwerkkabel, eventuell kommt doch irgendwas an der DS an. Ohne Netzwerkkabel mal testen.
