Hallo

Habe gestern auf DSM 4.x hochgerüstet............. Ich kann es aber auch nicht lassen!
Vorher mit 3.2 war alles bestens
Nun laufen meine Platten sporadisch an!

Hier mein Log ..... Um es vorwegzunehmen ... Ich stecke nichts an meine USB Ports

Das Problem scheint mit der version 4.0-2198 "gelöst" zu sein.
Meine Platten gehen gar nicht mehr schlafen!!! :mad:

Dann werde ich jetzt mal mit etherreal sniffen und mir ansehen was die Platten aufweckt!

An meinem PC hat sich seit dem Update (ausser natürlich dem DSM Manager) nichts geändert!

So überleben die Platten mit Sicherheit nicht lange!

Erstmal sehen wie ein Downgrade funktioniert!
Das war mit sicherheit das letzte Update das ich auf einem Synology Device gemacht habe

Na denn meine DS 209j rödelt seit dem Update gestern praktisch ununterbrochen ob PC´s an oder aus, wie lange machen die Platten das mit?

Da ich meine DS212J immer nur sporadisch nutze, schicke ich die Platten nach 10 Minuten in den Schlafmodus.
Dort bleiben sie aber nicht lange. Sie kommen laufend zurück. Mal unmittelbar nach dem runterfahren. Oft nach geschätzten 5 Minuten.
Das nervensägende und ohrenquälende Verhalten der Kiste ist intolerabel. Gedanken über die Lebenserwartung de Platten sind berechtigt.

Richtig schlafen wollte die DS die Platten aber auch vor Upgrade nicht lassen. Ich hatte Hoffnung in den Upgrade. Die Hoffnung, dass Synology das
Problem mal ernsthaft angeht und eine Lösung abietet, gebe ich nicht auf. Es kann doch nicht sein, dass unzählige Nutzer sich herummühen
das Ding zu kontrollieren. Vielleicht postet ja auch jemand von Euch die Lösung. Wäre wirklich schön.
