Hi,
when testing how fast I am able to read large files from my DS125j via wired Gigabit LAN Cat5e over the Win file explorer (SMB) to a new Win10 machine with just one 1GBit Netgear switch in between - the average tx rate is between 12 and 21 mByte/s.
HDDs is 2x
Seagate IronWolf 4 TB interne NAS Festplatte (SATA, 64 MB Cache, 5900 RPM, SATA 6 Gb/s)
in RAID2 Config.
When disabling SMB encryption in the DSM it is about 90mBit/s in the first 15s and continiously drops down to 10mBit/s and stays there for the rest of the tx.
How comes this isnt faster? What am I doing wrong?
