Hello everyone!
I recently bought an RT6600AX (SRM 1.3.1) router and I'm trying to configure it to connect to the network of an M-Net provider in Germany.
I have connected the WAN port of my router to the LAN port of GPON Terminal Huawei EG8012H5.
To set up the connection, the ISP provides the data:
PPP-User - username
PPP-Password - password
VLAN-ID Data - 40
Protocol - IPv6 DS-Lite
AFTR Address - aftr.prod.m-online.net
In the router settings I specified:
WAN port tagged VLAN 40;
Primary interface: connection type is set as DS-Lite, AFTR address is aftr.prod.m-online.net;
IPv6 settings: PPPoE, username&password, as specified from m-net personal cabinet.
The connection shows as "limited", no internet access.
ISP support replied as follows: "According to the remote diagnosis, the M-net areas for which we are responsible are usable. We have also noticed that dial-up processes occur again and again, but the connection is then always disconnected again after a relatively short time. Apparently not by us. It is therefore reasonable to assume that your own hardware is incorrectly configured."
What I'm doing wrong? How to set it up correctly?
