Update:
Die beiden Seagates sind zügig angekommen, in Folie eingeschweißt und zu beiden liefert mir GSmartControl folgenden Self Test:

Sind für mein Dafürhalten somit auch noch nirgends gelaufen. Wie sieht das Äußere der Platten und die Gewinde aus?

Gern geschehen! Also für mich sehen die Platten optisch wie neu aus. Ich sehe keine Einbau- oder Benutzungspuren. Auch die Kontakte am SATA Port haben keine Spuren. Akkustisch auch unauffällig.

Nachdem ich jetzt alles verbaut habe und die Speicherpools wiederhergestellt sind, hier nochmal abschliessend:
Die HGST Ultrastar He8 HUH728080ALE604 läuft in der DS1515 ohne Probleme (vom Händler, recertified, GSmartControl OK).
Die beiden Seagate Enterprise 12 TB von JB funktionieren in der DS923Plus auch ohne Probleme - nochmals vielen Dank für den Tipp!
