- wird auch der Docker Ordner verschoben?
- momentan ist der CM als auch der Docker-Ordner auf Volume1, --> alles soll nach Volume3

Wird das auch durch AppMover abgedeckt?

Ziel der Aktion ist die endgültige Löschung von Volume1

Jip funktioniert gut. Habe das selbst erst vor wenige Wochen mit Docker gemacht, hatte keine Probleme. Es wird Dir hierbei auch die Option eines Backups vor dem Verschieben angeboten. So bist Du eh auf der Sicheren seite.
Ich hatte alles auf Volume 2, Das existiert seither auch nicht mehr

Hat jemand eine Ahnung, ob man auch alle Pakete auf einmal verschieben kann? Beim Backup wird man gefragt ob Alle oder nur einzelne(s) Paket.
Konnte auf der github Seite dazu leider nichts finden, wäre aber eine sehr praktische Option.

Ich habe meine Pakete erst vorige Woche verschoben. Ich habe keine Option für alle gesehen und musste deshalb jedes Paket einzeln verschieben. Was mir persönlich aber auch lieber war, weil ich so nach jeder Verschiebung sehen konnte ob es auch weiterhin läuft.

I am going to add the choice of moving all packages at once to the script.

But, for certain apps (Cloud Sync, Container Manager / Docker, Download Station, Note Station, Synology Drive and Virtual Machine Manager) the script shows optional extra steps at the end like how to move shared folders, or change the volume in the app's settings. If someone had all of those apps installed it would add an extra 60 lines of output to the shell, that people may not read.

Also, because there are more apps that can be moved than need to be backed up, if the shell's scrollback lines setting is not large enough any errors may scroll off the top of the shell so the user doesn't see them, because they can't scroll up far enough.

I really need to add logging to a log file in the same folder as the script.

Hallo zusammen,

Darf ich mal eine Frage stellen? Wäre es möglich, einfach das Volume, auf welchem die Synology Apps wie Mail Server Plus usw laufen, auf den NVMe Speicherpool zu verschieben? Aus meiner Sicht könnte dies vieles vereinfachen. Oder bin ich da komplett auf dem Holzweg? Voraussetzung ist einfach, dass die Volumes nicht direkt auf den Platten laufen, sondern in einem Speicherpool, korrekt?

Changing the volume that the MailPlus shared folder is on won't reduce HDD activity much. It should speed up starting Mail Plus Server.

Yes. I just moved bb-qq's RTL8152 driver package and it started okay. I don't have a Realtek USB Ethernet adaptor to confirm it is working but I don't see any reason why it wouldn't be.

I've added bb-qq's RTL8152 and AQC111 driver packages to the app mover confirmed working list.

His repos and packages are great, except for the dodgy package icons.

1. They are jpeg images with a png file extension
2. PACKAGE_ICON.PNG which should be 64x64 is 500x250
3. PACKAGE_ICON_256.PNG which should be 256x256 is 1200x630
4. The 2 icons are 2 different images.
5. Because they are rectangular package center shows 2 of them.
6. When you do a manual package install and select the spk file the icon appears, disappears then reappears.

Hallo Zusammen,
Danke an @DaveR. Das Skript hat bisher alle Pakete problemlos verschoben.

Sorge hatte ich beim Container Manager, noch dazu, da das Zielvolume btrfs ist und die Quelle ext4. Die nötige Migration der Container war problemlos.

Jetzt sehe ich der Auflistung ein "package" mit Namen @database. Darin sind mehrere Ordner mit veralteten mysql Datenbanken? Ich bin mir unsicher, ob ich erst aufräumen kann und dann verschiebe. Oder doch alles verschieben und den "Müll" ignorieren?

Was würdet ihr vorschlagen was weg kann? MariaDB läuft mittlerweile als Container, pgsql.32 scheint eine alte Installation zu sein?

Das wird die DB des DSM sein.

- Only needed if moving all apps to a different volume so you can delete the old volume.
