Baïkal contacts (CardDAV) and calendar (CardDAV) installation package for Synology

darf ich fragen warum du von owncloud auf Baikal umgestiegen bist?
Ich habe leider nur windoof hier stehen, muss mal schauen ob ich meine Kontakte irgendwie mit Thunderbird auf Baikal
bekomme. Anscheinend blockt ios die aktuelle Kontakte von ios auf Baikal zu Sync.

benutzt ihr auch weiterhin denn icloud für Sicherung der Kontakte oder wird es nur noch über Baikal gesichert?

iCloud nutze ich schon seit längerer Zeit nicht mehr für meine Kontakt und Kalendersynchronisation. Bisher habe ich dafür Owncloud genutzt und seit dem Wochenende nun Baikal.

Warum bin ich umgestiegen? Naja, die DS bringt ja mit der Cloudstation schon eine eigene Cloudfunktion für Daten mit, inkl. der passenden iOS und Android Apps und die entsprechenden Betriebssystem-Clients. Somit ist die Daten-Cloud-Geschichte ja durch diese OnBoard-Lösung bereits bestens abgedeckt.
Baikal ist rein auf die Synchronisation von Kalendern und Adressbüchern ausgelegt und macht diesen Job bei sehr vielen Usern absolut ohne Probleme. Daher habe ich auf Baikal gewechselt, da somit eine weiter Cloud wegfällt, die ich nicht nutze. Weiterhin hatte ich bei den Updates der Owncloud bisher auch immer mal Probleme, sodass ich da auch bei jedem Update immer mit einem mulmigen Gefühl herangegangen bin. Owncloud ist eine tolle Idee, aber bei weitem noch keine 100prozentig stabile Anwendung. Seit Version 6.0 ist die Owncloud zudem auch wirklich verdammt langsam geworden. Selbst hier im internen 1GBit Heimnetz baut sich die Webseite nur sehr langsam auf, was mich auch genervt hat.

Vielleicht hilft Dir das mit dem Sync von iOS zu Baikal direkt (unten bei Datenübernahme)....allerdings scheint die App nicht so billig zu sein:

Baikal - Thuinderbird (CalDav)

Hallo,

habe gestern Baikal installiert und CalDav bzw. CardDav funktionieren problemlos mit Android. Jedoch habe ich stundenlang ohne Erfolg versucht, in Thunderbird auf den Kalender (CalDav) zuzugreifen. Egal welche Adressen ich eingegeben habe, Thunderbird hat einfach nie -wie sonst üblich - nach den Zugangsdaten gefragt. Läuft Baikal bei jemanden zusammen mit Thundebrird?

Owncloud funktioniert übrigens ohne Probleme!

I have had Thunderbird running as described in the manual. I moved to eM Client though, because of ongoing sync problems with Thunderbird Contacts. (Not only with Baikal, but also with ownCloud. Pretty sure this is a Thunderbird/SoGO bug).

I assume you are using SOGo Connector, Lightning and the Saved Password Editor?
Are you using the Thunderbird Contacts as well? Not sure, but I think Lightning uses the same password entry, so maybe this explains why you are not asked for login data again.

Bei mir hat Lightning erst wieder funktioniert (mit Owncloud und DSM 5) nachdem ich die SPDY Option unter den Web-Diensten deaktiviert hatte.

Yes, I tried it only with Lightning and with SOGo Connector, Lightning and the Saved Password Editor.

I think, I'll give eM Client a try (I must confess I didn't know eM Client til now, but it looks very good)!

You could try removing the password entry for Contacts/Calendars, you should get the login popup then.

I think, I'll give eM Client a try (I must confess I didn't know eM Client til now, but it looks very good)!

I am a VERY happy eM Client user, just regretting that I didn't start using it earlier ;-)

Ok, I switched to eM Client and I'm also really very very happy with it! Now everything works like a charm (as far as I've tested it)!

Baikal funktioniert mit Thunderbird habe ich soeben in 2 Minuten eingerichtet

Ich habe folgende Addons installiert SoGo Connector und SoGo Integrator.

edit: ich muss mich mal korrigieren, also Android und iOS funktioniert hier aber Thunderbird funktioniert wirklich nicht zumindest bei mir.

Off topic: eM Client license

Der emClient ist doch keine Freeware, oder?

eM Client is free to use for "2 accounts". I have it running on 2 PC's and 1 laptop, on each 2 windows accounts (separate login for my wife and me). On each windows account I have eM Client configured for that person. So I can login with my name on any PC an access my own e-mail.

In the beginning after switching the used PC, eM Client sometimes complains about the license, but if you re-install the license a few times (copy/paste the number) it is over ;-).

SOGo Integrator is not needed for Baïkal. You can experiment a little with the SOGo Connector version. Officially the major version number should be the same as Thunderbird, but I have read that sometimes a mix also works

Am einfachsten geht es über google kontakt

Synchen möchte ich die mit baikal. Ich will sie nur da erstmal importieren. Aktuell liegen sie bei google. Da will ich sie aber löschen, weshalb ich sie mit google auch nicht synchen will.

Also ich habe das so gemacht, von Google zum Thunderbird exportiert. Es gibt ein Addon für Thunderbird gcontactsync damit geht es relativ schnell
