Okay, ich bin jetzt ins DSM gekommen.
Es hat vorher wohl so lange gedauert sich anzumelden, dass der 2FA-Code abgelaufen war bis er geprüft werden konnte.

Ich habe hiermit den ursprünglichen Admin-Account (mit anderem Passwort) wiederhergestellt:

Es ist aber EXTREM langsam.

Mitlerweile ist das Laufwerk 3 als kritisch vermerkt.
Beim Resourcen-monitor wird das "Volume" durchgehend bei 100% angezeigt.
Der Status des Volume 1 ist:

Soll ich es jetzt riskieren, die Festplatte zu tauschen?
Wenn die Syno weiter im dem Tempo arbeitet und es mit dem Laufwerk nicht besser wird, dann erleben meine Enkel den fertigen rebuild...
Aber ich wüsste sonst auch nicht wo ich ansetzen sollte...

Ich habe nun die Festplatte getauscht.
Allerdings ist das DSM nun gar nicht mehr zu erreichen, ich komme nur noch über SSH auf die DS.

Edit: Auch Synology Assistant erkennt die DS

Bin ehrlich gesagt ein wenig ratlos...

HDD 3 ist 'ne Seagate Exos, die haben ja immer ID 1 und 7 > 0. Die ist laut SMART-Werten ja erst 12h gelaufen.

Nein, die Austauschplatte (Platte 3) ist eine Refubished Platte mit einem Jahr Garantie.
Platte 7 und 8 waren ebenso gebrauchte Platten mit denen ich gute Erfahrungen gemacht hatte.

Und die Gefahr, das mir mehr als eine Platte aus verschiedenen Batches innerhalb einer Woche kaputt gehen könnten erschien mir eher gering.

Dann schau ich schon mal nach Ersatz für Platte 1, allerdings würde ich das Array gerne erst rebuilden und dann die Platte tauschen, sonst muss ich alles neu aufsetzen und einige, zwar nicht essenzielle, Daten würden verloren gehen. Wäre nicht der Weltuntergang aber trotzdem ärgerlich.

Und dass das DSM nicht mehr läd sollte ja eigentlich nichts mit den Platten zu tun habe, oder?
Oder braucht die DS dafür das Array?

HDD1 auf keinen Fall jetzt ziehen, erst wenn der Rebuild durch ist.
Das DSM läuft auf dem Array, wenn das defekt ist, kann das schon sein.

Der DSM liegt als Raid1 über allen internen Platten in einer anderen Partition, unabhängig von der Aufteilung in Speicherpools.
Also ja, er braucht das Raid-Array.

Okay, aber soweit ich das beurteilen kann läuft der Rebuild ja nicht, ich kann über ssh auch nicht auf das Volume zugreifen.
Und ich kann auch nicht im DSM nachschauen, was los ist, da es nicht erreichbar ist.

Und jetzt?

Nur um sicher zu gehen:
Wenn das Laufwerk 3 im DSM genannt wird, dann sitzt es DEFINITIV in Slot 3, oder?
Nicht, das ich jetzt die Falsche Platte entfernt habe und bspw. SDA Platte 3 war und ich jetzt die falsche Platte getauscht habe.
