Stimmt ... Ich hatte ursprünglich 4x3TB-Platten drinnen, die ich einzeln jeweils und Step ByStep gegen 2x4TB-Platten und dann noch jeweils 2x6TB-Platten gewechselt habe und immer dazwischen ne langwierige Reparatur im Pool habe durchführen lassen. Sprich: Schacht 1 gewechselt, hochgefahren, Reparatur, fertig, runterfahren, Schacht 2 gewechselt ... Hat fast ne Woche gedauert.Check die Größen deiner Platten. Du hast wohl statt der 4 TB-Platten nur welche mit 3 TB. Das würde auch zu den Größen von md2 und md3 passen.

... oh Mist. Irgendwie bekomme ich keine Benachrichtigungen mehr und hatte diesen Post überlesen. Sorry.Die Kapazität der DS423 sollte reichen. Sie hat 12TB - wie die DS414j derzeit - und diese ist zu 75% gefüllt. Ich würde an Deiner Stelle ein versioniertes HyperBackup machen inkl. aller Pakete, die Du auswählen kannst. Für bessere Performance auf jeden Fall nicht komprimieren und ggfs. auch nicht verschlüsseln. Wenn sich wichtige Pakete so nicht sichern lassen, dann nochmal Bescheid sagen. Ansonsten nach Abschluss idealerweise die Integrität des Backups testen, was nochmal so lange dauern würde.
