FARM (Field Accessible Reliability Metrics) was developed by Seagate but is open source so other brands could add it to their drives. I believe it's HDD only.

FARM log (GP Log 0xa6) not supported for non-Seagate drives
I get this message on a WD 40EFZX, a very old Hitachi JPT3EA and a new Toshiba MG10ACA20TE. So it seems to look bad with the implementation of FARM, apart from Seagate. With a Seagate EXOS X18 ST18000NM000J, however, it also works perfectly under Windows 10.
I have already replaced the ‘drivedb.h’ file of the Smartmontools with a newer version from October 2024. Unfortunately, there was no change.
