So,

3. Open Sea Chest and its own command prompt will open.
4. First, get the drive's Handle which could be PD0, PD1, or PD2, etc.
Copy and paste or type the following in the command prompt and then press Enter.

5. Next, confirm if EPC (Extended Power Conditions) is supported and enabled for this drive. The following uses PD0 as an example and you should Use the correct drive handle in the command.
SeaChest_PowerChoice -d PD0 --deviceInfo
Locate EPC [Enabled] near the bottom of the list under Features Supported:
6. Next, to disable EPC, copy and paste or type the following in the command prompts and then hit Enter.
SeaChest_PowerChoice -d PD0 --EPCfeature disable
7. Confirm if EPC is disabled. Copy and paste or type the following in the command prompt and hit Enter to get the drive information again.

If an EPC is disabled, it will show EPC without the [Enabled].
8. Shut down the computer and then install the drive in the NAS.
Now monitor if the drive makes the clicking noise as it did before. If the issue persists, please reply to this email so that we could check for other possible troubleshooting. Awaiting your response at the earliest.
