Hallo,
das war nicht so erst gemeint. Sobald Du das erste .spk über den Paketmanager installierst ist auch das Verzeichnis da. Leg es per Hand an.

Die DS versucht also zuerst über das Script den VLC zu stoppen und dann wieder zu starten. Ggf. wird es auch nicht nur beim Start der DS ausgeführt, sondern auch beim Herunterfahren, um Ihn (sauber) zu beenden.

Die Startskripte werden beim Hochfahren mit dem Parameter "start" aufgerufen und beim Runterfahren mit "stop".

Es scheint also beim autostart NICHT zu funktionieren.
Den "Sleep 5" hab ich eingebaut, weil ansonsten die Prozesse des VLC beim anschl. "ps" in Script die Prozesse noch nicht angezeigt werden.

Wo liegt der Fehler? Warum bewirkt der Aufruf keine Ausführung des Scripts?

Wenn ich den anderen Aufruf ausführe, dann startet der VLC.

Problem: Dateiauswahl mit dBox gelöst

Hallo,

hab das folgende Problem inzwischen auch lösen können:

Es ist eine Datei auswählbar (z.B avi) und diese startet dann immer, 
egal welche andere avi-Datei man auswählt. Die Steuerung scheint 
also nur beim ersten Mal zu funktionieren. 
Die Selektion hat also scheinbar immernoch ein Problemchen.

Das Problem tritt bei der Version 1.172 des Movieplayers (aktuelles Keywelt-Image) nicht mehr auf.
Oben beschriebenes Problem war mit der Version 1.162 (Image von 2008).
Also dBox2 "upgraden" und dann ist alles gut.

Was mache ich falsch?

Hallo Leute

Ich habe eine ds209 und möchte per vlc auf eine DB pvr800 streamen.
Im Forum fand ich eine anleitung von papiga01.

Habe die Anletung Schritt für schritt duchgearbeitet. Jedoch kommen eine menge Fehlermeldungen. Was mache ich Falsch ?

wie es aussieht fehlt Dir noch ein vlc Plugin. Deine DS-209 dürfte aber zu langsam sein um Videoformate umzuwandeln.

Zu langsam..? ist da nicht ein 1.3 GHz prozessor drin? Diese Rechenleistung sollte doch ausreichen um Videos umzuwandeln.

Irgend ein Codec wird wohl fehlen, bloss welcher...

xvid-Package nachinstallieren

Hallo,

da es bei mir funktioniert scheint der entscheidende Tip der von Mib1976 (vgl. folgenden Beitrag) zu sein. Er mich auf das folgende Package hingewiesen:

Installiere mal das mal noch nach (ich hab dann rebootet) und dann nochmal probieren.

VLC funktoniert bei mir. Hatte nur einmal ein Problem mit Puffern, als meine Tochter auch Last auf die NAS gab. Hab meine Netzwerktypologie dabei in Verdacht.

@Schnalz: Haben sich Deine Probleme inzwischen gelöst. Wäre schön, wenn Du berichten würdest.

Nein leider besteht das Problem noch immer. Ich denke es ist irgend etwas mit dem Packet ffmpeg. denn das Video läuft

doch kein Ton. Auch sind die Fehlermeldung vom ffmpeg.

habe den vlc am laufen.. aber egal was ich anklicke
ob musik oder film.. nix geht..

ist schon ein weilchen her bei mir, aber den "dbus-uuidgen --ensure" musst Du via Telnet absetzen.
Solle keinerlei "Reaktion" hervorrufen. Bei mir sah es (via Telnet) gerade so aus:

Die hosts von mir hab ich weiter vorne (Beitrag 72) beschrieben. Ohne diesen Eintrag hast Du keine Chance auf einen Zugriff.

Manueller Start (via Telnet) mit:

su admin -c "dbus-launch vlc -I http &"

via Script ist weiter vorne auch beschrieben.
Mein Startscript ist die Datei /usr/local/etc/rc.d/S99vlc.sh und sieht (ohne Log-Zeilen) wie folgt aus:
